The Mathematics of Buratai's Dubai Homes Savings

Before we delve into the subject matter, let's ex ray his military career vis a vis promotions he enjoyed.
Lieutenant General Buratai's promotion dates are:
Lieutenant (January 1985)
Captain (January 1989)
Major (January 1994)
Lieutenant Colonel (January 1998)
Colonel (January 2004)
Brigadier General (January 2009)
Major General (January 2012)
Lieutenant General (August 2015)
Now, let's look at the salary structure of the Nigerian army:
Nigerian Army Salary Structure per month for
Commissioned Officers as at Dec, 2015
Second Lieutenant- N120,000
Lieutenant- N180,000
Captain- N220,000
Major- N300,000
Lt. Colonel- N350,000
Colonel- N550,000
Brigadier General- N750,000
Major General- N950,000
Lt. General- N1 million
General- N1.5 million
Note: The salaries were far less than the present structure. Former President Goodluck Jonathan approved the Review of the Consolidated Armed Forces Salary Structure (CONAFSS) in July 2010.
N115. 6million was alleged to have been paid for a property in Dubai. If the properties are two as reports allege, then we should be talking about N230million or more.
Assuming General Buruntai didnt touch his salary since he joined army till 2014 and using the current salary structure (which is much more that what he actually received), he should have the following in his bank as at January, 2014:
N8, 640, 000 as a Lieutenant
N13, 200, 000 as a captain
N14, 400, 000 as a major
N25, 200, 000 as a Lt. Col
N33, 000, 000 as a Col
N27, 000,000 as Brig. General
N22, 800, 000 as a major General
Total earnings by Gen Buruntai since joining the army in 1985 till January 2014 is much less than N144, 240, 000.
Now, being an award winning, globally acclaimed saver of the century, he might be saving up to 50% of his salary(which is practically impossible). That gives us less than N72, 120, 000.
This amount cannot buy a house in Dubai let alone two. There are many grey areas to be addressed before drawing conclusions. With this, you can form your own opinion and draw your own conclusions but be warned that you are sorely responsible for any opinion or conclusion you draw from this computation.
This is my modest contribution to the fight against graft. I must warn: Never punish the innocent.

No qualified Ambassadorial candidates in four omitted states – FG

The four states omitted from President Muhammadu Buhari’s list of ambassadorial nominees sent to the National Assembly had no qualified candidates, Babachir Lawal, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has said during an interaction with journalists in Abuja at the weekend.
The four states without nominees are Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Ondo and Plateau.
“Specific criteria had been set by the Presidency to pick nominees and the four states without nominees have no career diplomats in the Foreign Service who met the objective,” the SGF said.
“Four states didn’t make it one way or the other; however, not necessarily on the criteria of seniority. There are criteria and qualifications that are required to post you to go and represent Nigeria, not just because while in the Foreign Service or the civil service you were able to make Grade Level 16 or 17, quite a number of qualifications are needed. So even if you make that retirement criteria, service length or rank criteria, there are other criteria,” he explained.
The Senate had last week suspended the confirmation of the list of 47 ambassadorial nominees forwarded by President Buhari earlier in the month.
They argued that the nominations were not reflective of the Federal character principle. Four states had no nominees.
The Senate had proceeded to summon the SGF and Geoffrey Onyeama, Foreign Affairs Minister. They are to appear before the upper chamber on July 11 to explain the inconsistencies in the list.
Lawal said the Executive was disappointed that the Senate decided to suspend the screening of the 47 ambassadorial nominees when the issues could have been sorted out with only a phone call.
“Certainly, we will appear, we are law abiding, we respect the National Assembly and we respect the laws of the land. One thing, however, is clear, the Constitution makes it clear that it is the prerogative of the President to nominate Ambassadors and the criteria he will use to do so is also the constitutional right of the President. Whatever criteria he chooses to use is constitutional.
“I must say that we are disappointed that the National Assembly took the decision it took but at the last count my recollection is that out of the 47 diplomat nominees, the 36 states were represented. Out of 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, while the constitution preaches federal character, it does not say that every state must be represented in any appointment, except of course in the case of ministers. Not in all other appointments, so the spirit of the constitution has been fully satisfied by having 32 ambassadors out of 36 plus one (FCT). I believe that every objective analyst will agree with this,” Lawal said.

Awkward Moment A Medical Doctor was Caught Pants Down with A Woman at Work

Doctor sex
A Mexican doctor was caught with his pants down, having sex with a woman at work. The randy couple were filmed on a smartphone by a passer-by, who is believed to have peered through the window from outside.
The doctor, who is nicknamed “Dr Simi” after the Farmacias Similares pharmacy chain in south-eastern Mexico. It is believed that the man was an employee at the chain and was the setting for his explicit encounter.
The hilarious clip starts with the woman straddling the examination table. She sits with her legs hanging off the bed as the excitable doctor leans in and starts thrusting. The video footage suddenly gets even more awkward as the man leans in to clumsily kiss his lover.
After the man tries to kiss the girl, he starts to lean forward more, manoeuvring himself to be on top of the woman. But as the medical man prepares to mount the table as well, he notices the camera.
The embarrassed man looks up suddenly to see the person filming through the window. The camera is hurriedly removed from the window as the passer-by stops the recording.

Buhari's Chief Of Army Staff, General Buratai, Wives Own Dubai Property – Sahara Reporters

Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Tukur Buratai, and his two wives are joint owners of a Dubai property that was paid for in one transaction. Investigations by SaharaReporters indicated that the money for the purchase of the property may have come from a vehicle contract scam while Mr. Buratai was the Director of Procurement at the Army HQ. Our correspondents discovered that the Nigerian Army had awarded an apparently bogus contract for the supply of vehicles and motorcycles for the use of troops involved in an anti-terrorism offensive in Nigeria’s beleaguered northeastern zone.
The allegation that General Buratai might have pilfered funds meant for the purchase of military vehicles has sparked outrage among soldiers and officers, especially those from the northeast part of the country. Two military sources disclosed that irate officers had petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari, urging him to order an investigation into the contract scam.
In the petition, exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters, the aggrieved soldiers and officers, under the umbrella of Concerned Soldiers and Officers From the North East, accused the COAS of executing the contract through a proxy of his. According to the petitioners, the proxy's name is Usman Gamawa, founder of Baggash Investment Limited.
The petition stated that, rather than supply new vehicles as the contract demanded, Mr. Baggash purchased second-hand vehicles and motorcycles from Niger Republic. On arrival in Nigeria, the vehicles were then refurbished at Mogadishu Cantonment under the supervision of Staff Sergeant Dadan Garba. SaharaReporters learned that some of the vehicles and motorcycles had since broken down.
“If President Buhari can give service chiefs enough money to buy equipment, why are they buying old ones?” asked the petitioners, who added that General Buratai was exposing troops to grave danger and undermining the war against Boko Haram terrorists.

The disaffected soldiers and officers alleged that the property the COAS and his wives acquired in Dubai was bought from a company, SIGMA 111 Limited. They attached a document showing the purchase agreement. According to the document, General Buratai and his wives had, on January 13, 2013, reached an agreement with the seller for the purchase of the property, Project TFG Marina Hotel, Unit 2711. The asking price was AED 1,542,000.00 (or $419,826.06 or N120m). They alleged that General Buratai paid a total sum of AED 1,498, 534.00 (N115.6m) because the sellers gave concessions of AED 43,466, made up of “incentives, promotions, and early payment bonus.”
The agreement indicating full payment for the house and the handing over of ownership to the Buratais was signed on January 13, 2014. The document identified the COAS as “Mr. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, holder of passport No. A04250623.” The general’s wives were identified as Mrs. Aishatu Tukur Buratai, holder of passport No. A03400260, and Mrs. Umar Kalsum Tukur Buratai, holder of passport No. A03239920.
The petitioners further claimed that, since his appointment as COAS last July, General Buratai had been making numerous hefty deposits in his various bank accounts. For example, his Skye Bank account (1770380452) received a deposit of N10 million on July 24, 2015. On August 7, 2015, another N10 million was paid into the same account. Three days later, the account was credited with yet another sum of N10 million. On August 11 and 17,  N4 million and N3, 270,000 were credited to the account respectively.

Reuben Abati: The Game Has Changed…

My brother, I think all the people saying they have not seen any change should by now be convinced that truly, truly, the game has changed.”
“Football? Euro 2016? Brexit?”
“What is wrong with you?”
“Or may be you are talking about the death of Stephen Keshi and Shuaibu Amodu and the fact that Nigeria’s House of Football needs to be re-organized”
“I really don’t know what the matter is with you today. I always try to engage you in a conversation because I consider you smart, but your responses don’t make sense to me.”
“Game change. Well. I studied a bit of game theory in school not as a student of political science but as a generally curious student.”
“Who is talking about game theory?”
“Game theory is about political marketing, the relation between structure and agents, how power is deployed, structuration, the framework of power, the politics of structural and collective agency.”
“When you are tired of boring yourself, you will keep quiet. I am just saying the game has changed in Nigeria. I guess that is simple enough so stop quoting text books.”
“Ha, I get you now. I recall that the former chairman of the PDP, during the election was snick-named the game-changer. Everywhere he went everyone said game-changer!”
“If you are dumb, or pretending to be dumb, good for you. I am talking about today’s Nigeria, you are talking about the past. Can’t you see, don’t you hear, don’t you feel it, that indeed, contrary to what we used to think, something indeed has changed…”
“Tell me.”
“Me?  You mean I, me, myself?”
“What is that?”
“If you mean I, me, myself, I have nothing to say. And please note that because the times have changed, I have developed all kinds of problems with my senses.”
“Then you should go to London for treatment.”
“God punish you for saying that. Do you want to put my family in trouble? I forbid you to talk carelessly anywhere I am. If you are looking for trouble, go and look for it on your own. My mid-year resolution is that I will not hear any evil, speak any evil and see no evil.”
“Is that your game that has changed?”
Na you sabi?”
“I think your problem is that you are afraid. You are just like all these other people who have forgotten that there is a Freedom of information Law in this country”
“Hen hen. Who in this country has any law helped to put food on the table for his family? This man, be careful.”
“Feel free. Let’s analyze recent developments in the country.”
“As in…”
“The floating of the Naira”
“The Naira is floating eh. Good. So how many Nigerians have gone to the lagoon to pick up Naira free of charge, since the Naira started floating?”
“There is just one market now. “
“Hun hun.”
“Say something man. You are usually very intelligent and vocal.”
“I hear”
“Fayose, the Ekiti Governor and Ben Murray Bruce commented on this matter.”
“I am warning you, the way you are putting your hands in my mouth, I will call my wife to warn you to stay away from me henceforth.”
“What has your wife got to do with this?”
“Because you want to put our God-loving family in trouble.”
“Because you don’t want to talk critically about public issues?”
“You can say what you like?”
“Look at the Fayose issue. Even Zenith Bank like you is scared. They have disowned Fayose. Everybody today is sucking up and bootlicking. I hope someone will tell Zenith Bank and other banks that they all failed in their fiduciary responsibilities. The rule of banking says KYC: Know Your Customer.  You can’t useojukokoro to collect money and then turn around to say you don’t know. I also think a bank has a responsibility to report unusual transactions, the moment it happens not ex post facto.
“Well done”.
“And as for Ben Murray Bruce, the commonsense Senator. You can’t borrow money and start behaving as if you have more sense than your creditor.”
“This man. What is wrong with you? You are also a businessman and you once told me you are terribly exposed financially. Talk with some sense. If AMCON takes over every company, they will add to the unemployment crisis in the country and punish innocent people. AMCON is taking over too many companies. Fact.  ”
“I am talking sense”
“And I am saying these times we are in requires more than commonsense. It requires uncommon sense, tact and intellect, and a proper understanding of nonsense because what you call commonsense will just get you into trouble.”
“Ok, tell me”
“No comment. In this matter, I have neither sense, commonsense or uncommon sense.”
“I see. I see. The game has changed truly. Everybody with sense, even small sense is beginning to shut up and shut down. Tragic”
“Who has sense helped? The game has changed…I will not join you to say I have sense.”
“I am beginning to suspect you.”
“I will call your wife and ask her to advise you to avoid satanic conversations anytime you are with me.”
“You?”
“Yes. Me.”
“We cannot keep silent. This country belongs to all of us.”
“Good for you.
“We must talk, talk, and talk, on twitter, on instagram, on television, on the pages of newspapers.”
“Yes. Yes. Yes. And your wahala when it comes will also be televised, twitterised, instagramised, and newspaperized. You better borrow yourself uncommon sense.”
“Like Zenith Bank hen?”
“I think you should start going home now.”
“I also hear some militants are claiming that they are being instigated to continue pipeline vandalism and organize against the state.”
“Nobody is organizing anything in my house. Come, how has my wife wronged you, that you want to bring calamity to our household?”
“It  s our job to criticize public affairs.”
“It is our job to support government, so that when government succeeds, we too can succeed.”
“From your mouth?”
“Honestly, from my mouth.”
“Now, I am beginning to understand.”
“Understand whatever you want. Change is here. Have you not heard that in Cameroon, the parliament is debating a bill that makes adultery a crime. The deal is to have you spend between two and six months in the senior college if you go do napoi anyhow, so it is better to be careful and to control.
“I know some napoi people in Nigeria.”
“Like you, yourself?”
“We know who the adulterers are. Like the National Assembly people who are now in court for forgery. You commit political adultery, you run a risk.”
“This man, can you shut up? Stop talking like this at a pepper soup joint. Do you know who and who is eavesdropping on us?”
“With this loud music and with the way everybody is busy with pepper soup and isi ewu?
“Just shut the hell up.”
Iyalaya anybody who wants to rob me of commonsense.”
“You too have changed.”
Iyalaya change”
“Just shut the fuck up”
“So life is like this?”
“Life is like what”
“If anybody told me”
“That the iyalaya of social critics will face moving trailer.”
“That you will sound like this”
“At an open joint, with drunken souls eating pepper soup and half crazy?  I have told you, whenever you want to hear sense from my mouth, choose a different location.“
“Truth is not selective. It should thunder forth from everywhere no matter whose ox is gored”
“Gore your own ox, leave us out of it. As for me and my house, we shall support change.”
“This is a loser’s creed. The sacrament of the defeated.”
“You will still go and blow this your grammar in a cell, very soon. And you’d be surprised if I am asked to testify against you, I will gladly wear a mask and do so.”
“Me?”
“Yes, you. You can’t make me guilty by association”
“What kind of life is this oh?”
“What kind of stupid man is this oh?”
“Like seriously?”
“Like I know suicide is bad, even God forbids it.”
“As in…”
“Can we change this subject? Ha ha, wetin? Stop putting your isi ewu hands in my mouth.”
“What a country? What manner of a citizen? With people like you, democracy is on trial.”
“Forget matter. Even in America democracy is on trial. Even in Britain, right now democracy is on trial.”
“Power is dangerous. Powerlessness is worse.”
“When you use power to serve your purpose, everybody will know where they belong. As you see me so, I won’t discuss power at a pepper soup joint.”
“What of on twitter?”
“Twitter? So I can get into trouble?”
“But you have a twitter account?”
“I have deleted it to avoid temptations.”
“You have indeed changed”
“I have oh”
“You have lost your power of expression”
“It is better oh”
“You have become gentle”
“Look for a stronger word, please”
“You have lost your caustic tongue”
“My tongue still dey kampe, but I am intelligent enough to use it now only on ponmo and cow leg.”
“Change”
“Go and ask the people who refused to change.”
“Human beings are chameleons”
“Can you get off my back?  Oya, take the pepper soup and finish it. You can’t because you are paying for cheap pepper soup force me into trouble. Take your pepper soup. I am out of here.”
“Na fight? Finish your pepper soup.”
“I don’t want. You finish the rest or look for another mumu like you to finish it. This is amazing”
“Amazing as in the spread of mumuism. Go to Zenith Bank.”
“I can only wish you good luck”
“Same to you. Chop your pepper soup finish.”
“No”
“Next time, I’ll talk to that your Ph.D friend and report you to him. He should be more sensible”
“Hmm. Carry your wahala go. Who sense don epp?”
“Happy International Widows Day”
“Say that to your wife. She needs it. Yeye man

Aisha Buhari Deletes All Her Ranting Tweets Against Gov Fayose

Aisha Buhari's Jefferson Bribery Scandal: The Accusation, The Denial And The Counter Accusation

Real or Fake?
Real or Fake?
President Muhammadu Buhari has refuted claims by Ekiti governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose that his wife, and first lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari was named in the bribery scandal involving former US lawmaker, William Jefferson who was convicted of corruption in 2009.
In a statement by presidential spokesman on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, Mr. Garbu Shehu, Buhari dismissed the allegation by Mr. Ayo Fayose as “laughable” and called it a “desperate attempt” by Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State to link his wife, to the scandal which involved Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
The Ekiti state governor on Monday, June 20, 2016 distributed a link to the US Department of Justice’s website where court documents mentioning Aisha Buhari as one who aided the transfer of bribers to Jefferson, an American lawmaker who was convicted of corruption in 2009 and is currently servicing hissentence in a US prison.
The president arrogantly dismissed the allegation saying that “ordinarily, the presidency would have ignored Fayose because he is a man “childishly obsessed with the desire to grab the headlines and insulting people at will because of his incurably boorish instincts”.
The statement said that the presidency choose to respond on this occasion for the sake of innocent Nigerians who might be misled by Fayose’s “shameless and blatant distortion of facts”.
According to the statement from the Nigerian presidency, Aisha Buhari had no direct, indirect or the remotest connection with William Jefferson’s corruption scandal in the United States.
Buhari challenged Fayose to tell Nigerians if the so-called Aisha Buhari’s whose pictures “he proudly, but ignorantly shared”, was the same Aisha Buhari married to him, or if the Aisha Buhari of his idle imagination had any relationship by blood or any relationship in whatever form, with his wife.
The statement also asked Governor Fayose to “produce evidence from the records of investigation and subsequent trial of Jefferson to prove that Buhari’s wife Aisha was in anyway linked to that scandal”.
Buhari also challenged Fayose to show proof when and where Aisha Buhari was invited for interrogation in connection with Congressman William Jefferson’s bribery scandal, let alone indicted for a crime locally or abroad.
According to the presidential spokesperson, “free speech does not entitle Governor Fayose to falsely accuse innocent people of crimes they knew nothing about”.
The statement concluded with a threat to Governor Fayose, a vocal critic of the president, saying that the president’s wife, Aisha Buhari is entitled to “protect her reputation from being recklessly maligned, adding that political opposition is not a licence to attack people’s reputation brazenly without legal consequences”.

Fayose Exposes Nigeria’s First Lady
Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose is fighting back at President Muhammadu Buhari over alleged plot by the federal government to “nail him by all means”. Monday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, froze the governor’s personal account in Zenith Bank over an undisclosed “investigation”.
After announcing the freezing of his account on social media, Governor Fayose said that President Muhammadu Buhari is corrupt. The governor went on to expose the role that the president’s wife, Aisha Buhari, Nigeria’s first lady played in the bribery scandal involving Williams Jefferson, a former US lawmaker.
In a statement signed by his chief press secretary, Idowu Adelusi, Fayose said President Buhari was far from being a clean man.
“Even the President cannot claim to be an angel,” the governor said, in reaction to the freezing of his Zenith Bank account by the anti-graft commission.
“The estate he built in Abuja is known to us. His wife was indicted over the Halliburton scandal.
“When that American, Jefferson, was being sentenced, the president’s wife was mentioned as having wired $170,000 to Jefferson. Her name was on page 25 of the sentencing of Jefferson. We can serialize the judgment for people to see and read.”
The governor’s special assistant on new media, Lere Olayinka, later circulated a link to and copies of the court document detailing Mrs Aisha Buhari role in the bribery case which is part of the infamous Halliburton bribery case.
The documents showed that in some of the exhibits tendered in convicting Mr. Jefferson of bribery, Mrs.  Aisha Buhari was mentioned as transferring $170,000 to the American politician using a firm as proxy.
“Government Exhibits 36-87 (6/26/02 $170,000 wire transfer from account in Nigeria in the name of Aisha Buhari to an account in the name of The ANJ Group, LLC, identifying “William Jefferson” as Beneficiary),” the US Government Sentencing Memorandum said on page 22.

Aisha Buhari Named In Jefferson Bribery Scandal
Fayose’s statement revives a scandal that involves several top Nigerians, including former vice president, Mr. Atiku Abubakar.
Between 2000 and 2005, William Jefferson used his position as lawmaker in the US house of representatives to sell influence private companies for cash. According to court documents, Jefferson and members of his family received about $367,500 through his firm, ANJ Group, for services rendered to iGate, an American broadband technology provider.
An indigenous firm, Netlink Digital Television, had signed a joint venture with iGate to set up digital satellite TV and broadband Internet services in Nigeria. NDTV was owned by Oyewole Fasawe, a Nigerian politician at the time. Mr. Jefferson was contracted to help promote iGate and NDTV partnership in Nigeria.
Following a lengthy trial, Mr. Jefferson was convicted in 2009 and sentenced to 13 years in prison. Although Mr. Fasawe was arrested in 2005 by the EFCC, he was never convicted.
Nigeria’s former VP, Atiku Abubakar was marked as “a person of interest” in the case. Both Aisha Buhari and the former vice president are reportedly “wanted” in the United States. Curiously, Aisha Buhari has not visited the United States since her husband became president.
An EFCC report to then President Olusegun Obasanjo on June 22, 2006 on the bribery case contained Mrs. Aisha Buhari’s Citizens Bank account statements and implicated her for transferring funds to Mr. Jefferson.
A 2007 New York Times article detailed how Mrs. Aisha Buhari told an acquaintance in Washington that she was a daughter of a former Nigerian head of state and a friend of Mr. Jefferson.
“As the pair struck up a conversation and subsequently became friends, Mr. Assiba, then a security guard, said she told him that her father was the former military ruler of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari, and that her American friends included politicians like Mr. Jefferson of Louisiana.”

PDP Senators Withdraw Support for Buhari’s Govt

Senators on the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have formally resolved to totally withdraw their support for President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.
The Senators said it was time to end their one-year romance with the government, noting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government actions toward their party members so far, since taking over the central government were enough agonies to withdraw their support.
The resolution was taken following the court summon on the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, along with the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, over alleged forgery of the Senate Standing Rules.
The Senators at a meeting which outcome was kept in secrecy, resolved to communicate their new position to the national leadership of the party, yesterday evening, after which it would be publicly announced at a press conference.
A competent source at the meeting who spoke to our correspondent, but pleaded not be named, said a delegation comprising one Senator from various geo-political zone, with the Deputy Senate President, Ekweremadu, was mandated to take the position of the PDP Senate caucus to the leadership and report back today.
We are expecting them to report back the outcome tomorrow (today) and from there, you would hear our position formally at a news briefing, ” he said.
Meanwhile, after several denials, the Federal High Court in Abuja , yesterday officially summoned the President of the Senate, Saraki, his Deputy, EKweremadu, former clerk to the National Assembly , Alhaji Salisu Maikasuwa and outgoing Deputy Clerk, Ben Efeturi, over their alleged involvement in the forgery of Senate Standing Order.
The summon was effected through a substituted service which was pasted at the corridor along the Senate President’s office. According to the summon, Saraki, Ekweremadu, Maikasuwa and Efeturi are to appear before the court on Monday, June 27, being next week.
Parts of the summons read: “By oral application dated 21st June, 2016 moved by D.E Kaswe, Principal State Counsel Federal Ministry of Justices in this case praying the court for:
An order of this Honourable Court granting leave to the complainant/ applicant to serve the criminal summon on the defendants by substituted means to wit by pasting it at the Notice Board of the National Assembly Three Arms Zone, Abuja.
And after hearing D.E Kaswe with A.A Kaltingo Esq, counsel for the complainant/Applicant moved the court orally for the above relief.
Also included in the summon, were statements already volunteered by the former clerk to the National Assembly, Maikasuwa and the outgoing Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Ben Efeturi on their alleged involvement in the forgery.
Maikasuwa in his own statement said: “The Senate Standing Orders used in seventh Senate was not known to me. The Clerk of the Senate is in position to know. I was not aware of the amendment that was made to the Standing rules.”
Also, in his statement, Efeturi said the Senate Leadership handed the 2015 Standing Rules as amended by their convention and practice to him.
The Senate Leadership handed the 2015 standing rules as amended by their convention and practice. Standing Orders 2003, 2007,and 2011 followed similar practice, “he said.
But the Senate in its first reaction to the allegation, stated that amendment of the standing rules was done by the National Assembly bureaucracy.
