New Terro Main

Belgian police have released pictures of three suspects thought to be involved in a wave of attacks in Brussels, and are actively seeking one of them.
The suspects were caught on security cameras at Zaventem Airport, where 14 people were killed in a bombing and apparent suicide attack Tuesday — one of two Brussels-area attacks that left a combined 34 people dead in and around the Belgium city.
The three unidentified men in the photo are pushing baggage carts with suitcases past the airport’s check-in area. Two of the men are wearing black clothing and black gloves on their left hands. The other man is wearing light clothing and a dark hat.
Three terror suspects are seen at Belgium’s Zaventem Airport in an image released Tuesday by Belgian police. Belgian police posted a zoomed-in photo of the man in the hat on Facebook and asked the public for help identifying him.
“Police are attempting to identify this man,” the Facebook post reads. He is suspected of having committed the attack at the Zaventem airport on March 22, 2016. If you recognize this man or if you have information related to this attack, please contact the police.
At least 81 people have been injured at the airport, Belgium’s health minister Maggie De Block said. Another 20 people were killed and 106 were injured in blasts an hour later at Brussels’ Maelbeek metro station.
The militant group that calls itself the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks through its Amaq News Agency, the security analyst group SITE reported.
UPDATE: 2:10 p.m. — The Belgian news outlet RTBF Info is reporting that the other two suspects in the image above are dead. Michael Horowitz, a prominent geopolitical and security analyst for the security company Levantine Group, tweeted that the two black-clad suspects were likely suicide bombers and may have used their gloves to hide the detonators.

Buhari May Sack Rotimi Amaechi – The Trentonline News

Strong indications emerged over the weekend that President Muhammadu Buhari might consider sacking his Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, following serious pressure from foreign diplomats over his indictment for corruption by the Rivers State Judicial Commission of Inquiry.
The commission led by Justice George Omeregi was set up to investigate the sale of state assets and the consequent Whitepaper issued by the state government during his tenure as the governor.
The indications of Amaechi’s possible sack was informed by the supposed anti-corruption stance of the Buhari-led Federal Government which the foreign diplomats presume has been greatly compromised.
Also, Buhari was said to be reportedly disposed to easing out of office the current Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Lawal Babachir and his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari following the reports about their disposition of corruption.
A Western diplomat said: “There is now increased and general erosion of confidence in the president’s ability to prosecute his administration’s anti-graft war.
“About five senior diplomats have had reason to pass similar observations to the presidency after the Rivers State government Whitepaper that indicted the Minister of Aviation, Amaechi over alleged corruption during his years as governor.
“If I can recall very vividly, they told the president that until people like Amaechi in his government are excused from government to defend the telling allegations against him, the corruption fight will not be taken seriously.”
The declaration by the diplomats he said was buoyed by a letter written by Governor Nyesom Wike to foreign missions and Embassies detailing findings and related documentary evidences including the government Whitepaper of the Justice George Omeregi commission probe report on the state’s finances during the Amaechi years as governor, according to reports.
Speaking to newsmen on behalf of Governor Nyesome Wike, the Rivers state’s Commissioner of Housing, Emma Okah, had last year disclosed that the state’s Attorney-General had been mandated to start all legal processes against Amaechi; a former military administrator of Rivers State, Brigadier Anthony Ukpo (Rtd) and some other former political office holders to refund over N97 billion allegedly misappropriated in the sale of the state’s valued assets.
A foreign diplomat who was privy to the matter said: “The president being a leader desirous of returning Nigeria to the path of sanity and prosperity contracted the consultants recommended by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
“But the president gave them his own terms of reference which were not envisaged by his earlier understanding with Obasanjo.”
He said that the report concluded that the Buhari administration was better off when the President was working with permanent secretaries adding that he should have retained some of the “good and patriotic hands among them” instead of the almost clean sweep that sent all of them away leaving a wide vacuum in positive governance.
“They were effective either because they understood the workings of government very well given their experiences or they dreaded any tendency to act outside the directives of President Buhari.
“The president contracted a firm from the U.S. to assess the performance of his government and officials. The result is far from complimentary in respect to some officials, number one of which is the SGF, Engr. Lawal.
“The SGF’s supervisory role over the MDAs was also brought to question in the report; but it is surprising that the president has allowed him to stay this long after that report. I am aware too that somebody is being considered for that position.”
One of the instances mentioned in the consultant’s report is the sacking of heads of MDAs recently whereby other political appointees in such MDAs were left out of the action.
The source said: “Some departments and agencies’ staffers have expressed the worry that executive directors were left in office while chief executives of some agencies have been sacked by the present regime.
“The aggrieved staff argued that executive directors ought to have gone with the chief executives since they are all political appointees, stressing that the executive directors could not be excused from any impropriety that may have happened in such departments and agencies.
“The affected staff appealed to the president to as a matter of urgency sack the executive directors and probe their time in office.”
He said the case of the Chief of Staff is not different as his effectiveness as the bridge between the president and his aides alongside other federal, states and foreign governments’ officials has long been in doubt.
The source allegedly accused the ineffectiveness of the duo has contributed largely to the steep nose-dive of government in the past months.

Update on - Dakuku Peterside to face prosecution for murder

The River State Government has debunked claims that Governor Wike's Chief of Staff, Chukwuemeka Woke was arrested over an attempt on the life of NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside. The statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Social Media, Oraye St. Franklyn claims that it was actually Chief Woke who was shot at by Dakuku's security agents.
According to what they said, Chief Woke was driving along Forces Avenue, old GRA, Port Harcourt when the vehicle he was driving in was shot at by security agents attached to Dakuku. Woke sped into the compound of the Department of State Security Services (DSS) in order to escape his attackers. (pictured is Woke talking to the press at the DSS office)

SAHARA REPORTERS AND THE INVOCATION OF THE ABSURD TO EXCUSE DAKUKU'S CULPABILITY
The infamously dubious online news medium, Sahara Reporters in its characteristic nature has issued an absurd report of pure falsehood riddled with undiluted malice and mischief to malign the character, name and reputation of Engr. Emeka Woke, the Chief of Staff Government House, Port Harcourt, purporting that he carried out an assassination attempt on the life of Dakuku Peterside, the defeated Rivers State APC Governorship candidate.
Nothing can be more bespeaking of the grandeur of the absurd. The narrative concocted by Sahara Reporters is intended to excuse the evil plots of the cultic characters that parade themselves as leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.
There's absolutely no way, the Chief of Staff who moves without security can effectively commandeer the assassination of Dakuku Peterside, who himself invaded the Mile 1 Police Station in commando style today to release a detained corrupt INEC official with a little less than 100 soldiers on this very day. It is just unthinkable.
The most presumable fact is that Engr. Emeka Woke must have been believed to be conveying the election results from his home town Emohua to the INEC headquarters in Port Harcourt prompting the evil attack on him to retrieve the papers. This is the only logical consequence, given the fact that a similar attack was carried out on an INEC van along Airport road today by men loyal to Rotimi Amaechi and Dakuku Peterside.
It is therefore the most depressing evil for Sahara Reporters to present a false account to the public when an innocent man is battling for his life.
The desperation being shown by the Rivers State APC should not be given cover by misleading and false news headlines. The entire country has seen that the trio of Rotimi Amaechi, Dakuku Peterside and Ibim Semenitari are at the heart of the ensuing violence and restivity in Rivers State in a bid to win the Court-ordered rerun elections at all costs.
Sahara Reporters must endeavour to be a true partner for social reengineering by promoting truth and justice rather than make itself available to the dictates of fat-chested warmongers. The entire story as reported by Sahara Reporters is false, baseless and inciting anarchy in Rivers State. The Chief of Staff, Government House, who is a victim of gunviolence should not be victimised by might of pervading media. Truth must be protected and promoted.
Dakuku's security attacked the Chief Emeka Woke. Dakuku Peterside knows this to be true which is why he was prompt to claim assassination on his part, having reasonably failed to apprehend the Chief of Staff. Dakuku Peterside must be invited for questioning on the matter and it is condemnable and most unconscionable that he claims to be a victim of assassination in spite of the army of security at his beck and call including the dare-devil FSARS, DSS, Police and the Military; the magnitude of which no Nigerian Governor is privileged to have.
The state of the Chief of Staff is unknown. He was not arrested by the Department of State Security. We call for prayers for him."

Hold Buhari accountable for violence, loss of lives in Rivers State Election - Fayose

Read the press statement below...

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has said President Mohammadu Buhari must be held accountable for the violence and loss of lives in Rivers State rerun elections, saying; “Members of Buhari’s party, APC, are emboldened to unleash violence on the people of Rivers State and other States in Nigeria because they know that the president won’t lift a finger provided his party members are the ones perpetrating evil.”
The governor said “those who called the Ekiti State governorship election in which soldiers and other security agents made sure that that there was no violence, no live was lost during and after the election and no ballot was snatched EkitiGate should be asked what the Rivers election in which eight people were killed and several others injured will be called.”

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said President Buhari’s way was to protect his party people, and his Hausa/Fulani tribe, hence their boldness to perpetrate evil.

The governor maintained that President Buhari’s culpability in the killings in Rivers State and the manner Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has destroyed the legacy of free, fair and transparent elections bequeathed on Nigeria by the PDP government former President Goodluck Jonathan was not in doubt.

He said; “Can President Buhari fold his arms if the people being killed are from Daura in Katsina State? Is it that any soul that is not a Fulani is not important to the President?” The governor, who challenged the Military authority to probe the roles of soldiers in the Rivers State election, added that; “If they could probe soldiers who participated in the Ekiti State governorship election despite their commendation by the international community for providing a safe environment free of major incidents, one wonders what they are going to do in the case of Rivers State in which peoples were allegedly killed by soldiers.

“What are they going to call Rivers election since they called that of Ekiti State EkitiGate? Are they going to call Rivers election in which several people were shot dead allegedly by security agents, election inconclusive, fake Results Sheets produced by INECRiversBuhariAmaechiGate?”

While calling for the immediate sack of INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the governor said Nigerians must ask questions as to how INEC produced Results Sheets of over 230 polling units with PDP omitted.

He said if nothing was done to INEC as presently constituted, 2019 will spell doom for the country’s democracy, adding that “If 2019 elections will not be messed up and be made inconclusive, lovers of democracy in the country must not keep silent on the mess our elections have become under Professor Yakubu.”

Dakuku Peterside to face prosecution for murder

Armoured Sports Utility Vehicle used  by Defeated APC Ikwerre State Constituency Candidate, Mr Azubike Wanjoku to ram into the Electoral Officer's car
Read the press statement below..

All is now set for the prosecution of  Dakuku Peterside, defeated Rivers State Governorship Candidate  and NIMASSA Managing Director who on Sunday  directed his security details to murder an aide to the Chief of Staff to Governor Wike while fleeing with some result sheets from Ikwerre Local Government Area.
The incident  took place at the UTC junction  in GRA after Dakuku Peterside  instead of taking Ikwerre  Local Government Area  result sheets snatched from collation officers to INEC office drove with  it towards the GRA.

He had stormed the Collation  Centre in Isiokpo with soldiers after which he hijacked  the already collated results, which included the Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency. Chief of Staff to Governor Wike, Engr Emeka Woke is a PDP  Collation Agent for Emohua Local Government Area. Dakuku Peterside, plays politics from Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area  and has no links with Ikwerre Local Government Area.

After he snatched the results alongside  his defeated running mate, Asita Asita, Dakuku  Peterside  and  the soldiers fled towards Port Harcourt.  The PDP leaders of Ikwerre and Emohua  Federal  Constituency followed suit.

At Omagwa  near the airport,  the soldiers  withdrew leaving the SARS personnel  from Abuja  to  take over the electoral theft operation.  At Omagwa, defeated APC candidate for Ikwerre State Constituency,  Azubike Wanjoku attempted to murder the LGA Electoral Officer when he used his Armoured Sports Utility Vehicle to ram into the Electoral Officer's car. The SARS personnel with Dakuku  Peterside also opened fire on the rest of the people. The Electoral Officer  was shot.

It was from this point that Dakuku Peterside motorcade in neck-breaking speed drove towards Port Harcourt.

Chief of Staff to Governor Wike, Engr Emeka Woke became a victim as the same SARS  personnel  with Dakuku Peterside opened fire on the vehicle  of the Chief of  Staff.

Like in the case of infamous Chidi  Lloyd,  Dakuku Peterside  went ahead to release a false press statement  on the issue.

Alleged Attempt on the Life of NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside

Sahara Reporters are reporting that Governor Wike's Chief of Staff, Chukwuemeka Woke has been arrested over an alleged attempt on the life of NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside.

From Sahara Reporters

The Department of State Security in Rivers state has thwarted an assassination attempt on Peterside Dakuku, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in last year’s guber election in the state and reportedly arrested ChukwuEmeka Woke, the Chief of Staff to Governor Nyesom Wike for leading a killer squad in two Sport Utility Vehicles that trailed and opened fire on Mr. Dakuku.
According to a press release issued by Mr. Dakuku’s office, the gunmen trailed him from Aba Road as he drove towards his house in the GRA area of Port Harcourt, but as his car made to turn towards the GRA entrance to his home, the gunmen drove aggressively hoping to overtake his car.
Mr. Dakuku then changed course and drove to the state headquarters of the DSS as his security aide had already radioed for help.
Soon as Dakuku was allowed into the premises of the DSS, officers at the gate reportedly opened fire on the two SUVs trailing him and succeeded in demobilizing the care and got some of the occupants including Mr. Woke arrested.
One of Mr. Dakuku’s security aides was seriously injured as a result of exchange gunfire during the thirty-minute long encounter.

Paris Attacker Caught Out By Pizza Delivery

Captured and injured ... cops flushed Abdeslam from his bolthole
Belgian Police has said that the Paris terror attacker was caught out when too much Pizza was delivered to his ‘safe’ house. Police knew only three people lived there and swooped when they saw six large pizzas being delivered.
Salah Abdeslam, 26, logistics mastermind of November’s Paris attacks in which 130 died, was hiding at a friend’s house yards from where he grew up in Molenbeek, Brussels. Police flushed him from his bolthole after his friend Abid Aberkan’s mother ordered the pizzas.
A police source said: We were fairly confident he was there but the giveaway was the pizza order. Police had been watching Aberkan after he attended the funeral last week of Abdeslam’s brother, fellow Paris terrorist Brahim.
France has demanded Abdeslam’s extradition and Belgium has indicated it will do all it can to speed up the process. This could take three months as the fanatic has said he will fight it. Salah Abdeslam has been charged yesterday with terrorist murders and belonging to a terrorist group by a judge together with Amine Choukri who was also seized in Friday’s raid.
Abid Aberkan and his mother were charged with involvement in a terrorist group and harbouring criminals. Police are also examining a piece of paper that fell out of Abdeslam’s trouser leg when he was arrested.
