Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Nigeria
Minister of Solid Minerals and Development has said that Nigeria will be
expected to generate 1000 MW of electricity from coal by the year 2020 to
supplement other source of energy currently in use in the country. He said this
at the Economic Summit organised by the New Telegraph Newspaper in Lagos last
week with the theme – Nigeria: Beyond the Oil Economy.
